Pre-registration closes 24 hours prior to the program start time.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Ski the park on this guided excursion! A Park Interpreter will teach you the basics of cross-country skiing, followed by a guided ski through the park. Feel the breeze of crisp winter air as you glide past swaying Aspen down a groomed trail, then warm up with a yummy bite to eat from the Kenosee Inn Kabin Restaurant! Skis will not be provided but skis are available for rent at Kenosee Inn or bring your own.
PROGRAM LOCATION: Meet at Little Kenosee (accessible from Highway 209).
This program is designed for all levels of experience in cross-country skiing. If there is not enough snow to utilize skis, this program will be offered as a winter hike.
Be sure to prepare for the weather - dress in layers and check the forecast for snow and wind. Please note: if temperatures in the program location are forecasted at or below -26°C (with the wind chill), this program will be cancelled. Cancellations will be made 24 hours in advance and all pre-registrants will be notified via email.
