OPEN AIR FIRE RESTRICTION: All wood burning fires in the park are prohibited. CSA approved self-contained portable gas heating devices and fire pits, barbecues, pressurized stoves and charcoal briquettes will be permitted for cooking and heating purposes at park discretion. These measures will remain in place until conditions improve and the fire restrictions have been lifted.

Description

Home to one of the rarest geographical formations in Canada, Blackstrap Provincial Park takes its name after the manmade mountain that rises 45 metres above the surrounding prairies. A 35-minute drive south of Saskatoon, this park is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of summer activities including swimming, camping, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Winter activities include winter hiking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and mountian biking.

With a boat launch located on the east side of the lake, Blackstrap's lake is ideal for water activities such as water-skiing, canoeing, windsurfing and ice fishing. A main beach with inviting sand and ample grass areas makes a perfect place for games and sun tanning. For that perfect getaway with minimal effort and preparation, two Camp-Easy sites are available for booking.
